My Dream

Last night I had a dream. It was very strange. Dreams seem to be strange but what do they mean? My grandmother is in a dream class. She says they decipher every little detail of every dream. So here is mine...
It is kinds foggy now because its was over twelve hours ago. But as I remember it my boyfriend and I were in a mall like building with my two friends- Ally and Natasha*. There was another person there and I remember them to be an antagonist to the story. I can not remember every detail but I do remember that My friend Ally was murdered by the unknown antagonist and I remember the bad guy murdering my friend Natasha, just like he murdered Ally. I remember something like my boyfriend jumping in and finishing off Natasha but I can not be sure about that. So now both my friends have been violently murdered. The bad guy whom in my mind is a grayish blob comes at me. He has me on a bed and is holding me down. He has his hands around my throat. And then in my dream my boy friend tackles him and starts fighting with the antagonist eventually killing him. My boyfriend murders the bad guy in the same way the bad guy was trying to kill me. Strangulation. (My greatest fear, next to having an open back pack). After all of these murders happen my boyfriend and I end up trying to cover up everything. And then I woke up.
There are many unanswered questions here. I don't know what any of this means. Needless to say I woke up in a bit of a different way this morning. Although this is not my first violent dream. I will save you and not get into that. I would like to know the reason we have the dreams we do. It can not be that I want my friends murdered. Maybe it is a sign of that we are not as close as we used to be? Maybe it means I want to go the mall and buy fur. I don't know. Does anyone? Is there any point in a dream class. It seems like all bullshit to me. It seems way to abstract and it is too easy to interpret a dream in a billion different ways. No one interpretation is the same. Does our subconscious even know what our dreams mean?
